Manchester United take a trip to Aston for their next game where they take on Villa. The form of the two sides is very contrasting, Villa have just sacked manager Steven Gerrard and replaced him with Unai Emery. While United are in great form under ten Hag.

It will be an interesting match, Villa scraped a result in the last league meeting between the two teams. Late goals from Phillipe Coutinho and Jacob Ramsay secured the point that day, but with two new managers and some updated squads we will be seeing a much different set of teams lineup.

He has been replaced by Spaniard Unai Emery, who has been a massively successful manager throughout his career. His own Premier League experience came with Arsenal in what was Emery’s least successful managerial phase. He has it all to prove in England.

New Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has taken control of the United dressing room. He has brought in some fantastic reinforcements while managing the current personnel excellently. He has already proven his worth and shown his expertise.

On the pitch, United are much more of a threat as well. Rashford has looked like his younger self, Maguire and Shaw have both improved too! There hasn’t been a single player in ten Hag’s team that you’d look at and think they’ve been poor. Every player has played their part.

Their last result saw them beat West Ham 1-0, they showed grit to hold on to the points despite late advances from the London side. Villa will come into this game with a similar ‘never say die’ attitude. It will be a testament to the work of Erik ten Hag if he can pull off yet another win.

We can see this one being fairly even. United have been a dominant side in possession but we’re sure that Emery will have something up his sleeve to counteract this.
